Viveca Sten made her author debut with crime novel I de lugnaste vatten (Still Waters). It soon became a huge hit with both critics and readers and today the author has sold over 3 million copies of her books worldwide. Her novel I grunden utan skuld has been shortlisted for the 2015 Icepick Award for crime fiction novels translated into Icelandic.

In November this year her eighth novel, I sanningens namn (In Truth), will be published in Sweden. This just one month before she made her US & UK debut with brilliant results and top chart placements in both countries. In the mean time we look forward to seeing her Sandhamn Murder Series continue to top the bestseller charts, not to mention the whopping success of the TV mini-series that is based on Viveca’s novels. Today, Viveca lives in Stockholm with her husband and three children. During the summer months she leaves for Sandhamn to write and spend the holidays with her family. Last year she also published a cookbook that features stories from the Stockholm archipelago.
